A historic revival

Reconstructing industrial architecture is always a challenge — but when a historic building is enhanced with contemporary elements and flexible interior layouts, the result is something truly special: a bold interplay of old and new. At Mootori 2, the building’s dignified original architecture and striking arched windows have been carefully preserved. Above them, the new extension is elevated from the ground, creating a dramatic central atrium while seamlessly integrating the building’s exterior with the architectural identity of Volta.
