Second tower completed in Endover’s new highrise quarter with two more soon to join them
Today saw the completion of the second highrise in Endover’s Rocca Towers residential and business quarter, which is transforming the silhouette of Tallinn. The majority of homes and commercial premises in the tower have already been handed over to their new owners. Construction of the fourth and final building is due to commence in September, with the quarter as a whole being completed in 2023.
Endover management board member Robert Laud says that to date, all of the buildings in the Rocca Towers quarter have been completed on schedule despite the complicated times on the construction market. “Our aim is for the quarter as a whole to be ready by the time we promised,” he said. “The Rocca towers have earned us a lot of positive feedback so far for their construction quality and in terms of first impressions. Even property experts have been pleasantly surprised by the results, which have really enriched the urban space in this part of Tallinn. As for the situation on the market, home-buyers and investors are worried about inflation. Anyone who’s currently sitting on money is still looking to attractive real estate as their first option for investment.”
Raido Pärn, a member of the management board of Metropol Ehitus, the main contractor working on the Rocca Towers quarter, says the company has managed to guarantee the supply of all key materials up to the end of the construction period. “Since we’re constructing a number of buildings at the same time, coordinating different stages is a challenge,” he explained. “But skilled planning has really streamlined the construction process. We’ve put a lot of emphasis on updating our quality management systems as well, and we’ve been recognised for the quality of our homes by the people buying them.”
The Rocca Towers quarter is situated close to the Haabersti overpass. It will be home to five buildings offering more than 330 apartments and 4000 m² of commercial space. One low-rise and two highrise apartment buildings have now been completed. The third tower is due for completion at the end of the year, with the fourth and final building joining it next year. Construction of the quarter, which covers 41,000 m², began in 2020 and will come to an end in 2023.
