In North Tallinn, some of the most unique homes in terms of style and architecture, not just for the district but for the entire city, have been completed. The reconstruction of the distinguished main building of the historic Volta industrial district, dating back to 1899, has been finalized.
The new elegant urban homes retain the heritage and spirit of the building—historical elements and valuable architectural features have been preserved in both the exterior and interior.
Homes for Connoisseurs of Historic Design
In the evolving Volta Quarter, one of the area’s most stylish and historically valuable architectural gems has been restored in collaboration with Apex Architecture Bureau—the former headquarters of the industrial giant Volta.
Volta Villa embodies Neo-Historicist style and elements from the past century, which were carefully restored during the reconstruction process. The result is undoubtedly some of the most distinctive apartments the real estate market has seen in recent years.
Key features, including the iconic arched and rose windows, limestone interior and exterior walls, a grand main staircase with vaulted ceilings, cornices, and metal railings, as well as the stately columned main entrance and façade, have all been preserved. The common areas also retain the original wooden double doors and historic floor tiles. The vaulted brick ceilings in the basement now enhance storage spaces and bicycle rooms.
